Chalkboard Care Instructions.png

MDF THICK.png

  • Use a damp cloth with a house hold window cleaner or our chalkboard cleaner
  • Never use an abrasive cleaner as this will remove the chalkboard paint
  • Over time the boards will begin to shadow and go grey as more and more of the chalk dust is deposited on the board
  • You can easily recover the board surface by applying a fresh coat of chalkboard paint (see accessories)
  • This is extremely quick drying and returns the surface to its original dark black finish

    • If being used outdoors you should treat these frames in a similar way to how you would look after outdoor wooden furniture.
    • Over time the wood will weather and we would recommend that it is treated with a simple weather proof stain every 12 months.
    • If being used indoors, then treatment will be required less frequently
