All the wood we use in our products, including chalkboards, blackboards, menu holders, condiment holders, table top displays, pavement displays and garden games are sourced from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved suppliers. While we can provide certification from our suppliers upon request, please note that Chalkboards UK itself is not FSC certified. The certification process is extensive and costly, which means our certification 'chain' is technically broken. Nonetheless, you can be assured that we prioritise responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship in our manufacturing processes.

To keep your chalkboard in top shape, follow these steps: 1. For everyday cleaning, use a damp cloth with household window cleaner to wipe away chalk residue. 2. Chalk is made from calcium carbonate, creating a dry, powdery finish that's easy to erase with a damp cloth—perfect for frequent updates like menus or lessons. Chalk markers, however, use liquid ink for a bold, vibrant look, ideal for detailed designs on non-porous surfaces like our premium chalkboards. To keep costs low, we handle all branding in-house. For best results, send your artwork as a vectorized PDF, EPS, or AI file. If you’re using JPEG, PNG, or TIFF, make sure it’s at least 300dpi. A: No, we don't currently offer any magnetic chalkboards in our range. At Chalkboards UK, we prioritise the quality and functionality of our products. We've found that magnetic boards tend to 'shadow,' which negatively impacts their performance as chalkboards. Therefore, we focus on providing high-quality non-magnetic chalkboards, blackboards, menu holders, tabletop displays, and pavement displays that meet the high standards our customers expect.

We can produce chalkboards up to 2440 x 1220mm or 8ft x 4ft. Delivery isn't always straightforward with larger sizes, so get in touch with us to discuss your options.

We only have a limited number of print screens, so after each production run our screens need washing off so they can be reused. Therefore, a print set up fee will need to be applied again when ordering any re-prints.

Our printed chalkboards typically take 2-3 weeks to arrive after payment and artwork approval. Need them sooner? Let us know your deadline, and we'll do our best to make it happen!
